Hi all,
Thanks for your responses to my question, I've been in this situation for a couple of years and was a bit hesitant about trying to get an appointment with my GP. I went through my fertility specialist a few years ago and had an appointment with him at his clinic and he was pretty good. My family was a bit worried about the fertility treatments so I just asked him for a referral. He gave me a referral so I went to my GP which is the only one in the area where they can give me a referral, and he gave me the referral in person and sent me the referral back and they gave me my appointment. I was hesitant to get my appointment but I've been getting my referrals through their site, and I'm trying to figure out if I can get an appointment with my GP. I'm currently a patient and have had a good experience with Clomid since I started Clomid in February 2009. I've been on the fertility medication for about 2-3 years now and my hormones have been working well. I've been feeling really good but I'm feeling a bit under the weather. I've tried everything I can think of to get an appointment with my GP and he's pretty nice, and he also mentioned that I've been taking the drug fertility drugs. I haven't taken them for about 4 months or so and I've been feeling really poor since starting them. My doctor told me that I have to get in touch with my GP, and I can't really tell if he's right for me as I haven't had any side effects with them and I've been feeling really good. My only thought at this point is if I can't get an appointment with the GP, can I just get a referral, and if I can't get my appointment with him, can I just get my appointment with the GP? Thanks in advance!
I've been on the fertility medication for about 2-3 years and I've been feeling really good, but I'm worried that I'm going to get any side effects from Clomid. I'm a bit confused about whether to start the medication, and if I can just get the GP to prescribe it and if there are any side effects I should be fine, but I'm really concerned about the potential for Clomid to cause side effects or even worsen my cycle, I'm just curious whether there are any alternative treatments that might be better.
Thanks for all the info!
JKHello
I have been trying Clomid for quite some time now but I am worried that my fertility drug is causing me to get too hot, so I'm starting to take it on my own. I am hoping that if I can get the GP to prescribe it, I can see if there are any side effects which may be better for my health. I will update this post as my fertility medication does not seem to be causing me any side effects. My doctor said to give me a referral, I am not aware of any side effects and I will be taking Clomid regularly for about 3-4 years. I am trying to find out if there are any alternative medications I can use to get pregnant. I am a very active patient and have been doing well since starting Clomid in February 2009. I am hoping that the GP will be able to prescribe this medication and if they can get me the right medication, and I can get pregnant.
I hope all these good tips will help to help me get pregnant, and I hope that you all can join me as I have a lot to learn from this journey. Thanks so much.
